Ogre Fight - We Will Rock You
This fight scene was performed by the Weston Drama Workshop. We Will Rock You was the first show that I got to work on outside of college. At first it was a little nerve-racking considering the amount of teens in it. It was also my first time teaching a masterclass which added to the pressure.
It was difficult trying to manage the time because I only had one night to teach the entire thing. Luckily, we powered through and created this.
Greasers vs. Socs - Outsiders
This fight scene was performed by the Franklin High School 2024. This fight was by far my biggest challenge because there were so many variables to take into consideration. Such as timing the fight to the pre-recorded music score, everyone having their own fight sequence in the beginning, and a smaller stage.
I am most proud of them considering I had taught them basic stage combat only a month before they put this on the stage.
Act one Finale - Urinetown
Another fight scene performed by the Franklin High School 2025. This one was a lot of fun to choreograph. Getting to add comedy into fight scenes was a lot of fun. Not just for the teens but for me as well because it allowed me to put my own comedic spin on it.
